Invictus Modern Dentistry San Diego is pleased to welcome Anthony Viruet, a registered dental hygienist, to our gentle dental team. With an accomplished history in the United States Navy and experience working for dentists in Florida and California, Anthony brings unique qualifications and excellent skills to our practice.
He’s an excellent fit for Invictus Modern Dentistry because his training with the U.S. government has developed him into a dependable and efficient team member with a strong work ethic and fun, comforting chair-side manner.
Antony worked for almost 3 years as a dental technician for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C. and Okinawa, Japan – running dental offices, supervising staff and managing budgets while treating patients with the level of professionalism that the Navy requires. After leaving the military, he completed additional training at Concorde Career College-San Diego and worked in several practices.
Perhaps the most unique thing about Anthony – and the aspect of his life that patients most want to talk about – is his 2 years with the United States Ceremonial Guard honoring America’s fallen sailors. He had the privilege of participating in 21 gun salutes at Arlington National Cemetery, the U.S. Naval Academy and other burial areas. This assignment also involved working with the Pentagon and White House honoring foreign leaders and dignitaries as well as many other drill performances and ceremonies.
Anthony is part of a diverse team of dental hygienists and other team members at Invictus Modern Dentistry San Diego who are interested in much more than just your teeth.
